Warroad Adult Education Volunteers: Warroad
Adult Education is seeking enthusiastic people with a lot of
energy to volunteer their skills in Reading and Writing, and/or
just participate in conversation with our English Language
Learners. We have adult learners that need people to help them
with the ability to read and write and that is usually gained
through training or experience from our members of our
community. This is a wonderful and friendly environment and a
great way to meet people from other countries. If you have any
questions, please call Traci Pederson @ 386-1776 ext. 4071.
4th of July Volunteers Needed:
The Warroad Area Chamber of Commerce works with
our community to organize one of the biggest 4th of July
celebrations in the region. We'd love to have your help at
the dunk tank (taking money or taking the plunge!) or welcoming
and directing teams at the Chili Cook Off. A fun day for
both adult and teen volunteers. Non-profit groups are
welcome to set up an activity or game at the site and may be
eligible for a $200 cash contribution. Please call the
Chamber office at 218-386-3543 for further information.
